i'm still dealing with the fact that my baby turned one.
i was close to tears (the good kind) the entire day.
she acted excited for the cake. until she realized she had to feed herself.
(hey, nothin wrong with babying your baby.)
she did NOT want to get her hands dirty. she ate it crumb by crumb, or from her daddy's hands.
i made this banner. which i had no time for.
yet somehow all the cutting and glitter kept me sane through the last week of school.
(and yes, i kinda wish college included art projects with tons of glitter.)
yes, there may have been a sugar high after all the guests had left in which hallie and daddy played until she could play no more.
i have a one year old. and it feels weird.
but good.

Happy Birthday Hallie! Oh Annika, she is such a doll. she may be the only one year old I have ever known to not want to dive right into her cake, that is cute!

Oh Annika! I can't believe she's one! Her party looks absolutely perfect! I love the glittery sign and the pink pom poms. And her sweater is to die for. I love your skirt too. I love that she wanted her cake to be fed to her! :) I am so happy you posted pictures, I felt so bad not to be there. It was sooo fun yesterday! :)
i love your skirt! where did you find it? i'm trying to find a gray one and haven't had much luck. what a fun party. your wrapping paper was beautiful :) and i love that she didn't want to get her fingers dirty.

That was such a fun party Annika! The decor was adorable, as was your little family. :) It's so fun to watch Hallie grow - she is such a cutie!
